Whatshisname?
Sometimes dogs names are chosen on the spur of the moment and sometimes there’s lots of thought that goes into dogs names. What’s in a name? A lot actually.
Lots of people don’t necessarily name their pets common human names like Kevin or Sally. Some people do and I think it’s pretty awesome to name your pet a “normal” human name.
Dogs Names. What’s in a name?
Usually people take a look at their pet and name them based on what they look like or their personality. We name them based on how cute, funny, lovable or affectionate they are or simply by their size or color. One of my dog’s names was Chewbacca, Chewie for short. And yes, several people used to say to me he reminded them of Chewbacca from Star Wars. That is what inspired his name.
It’s pretty interesting and maybe even funny to notice there’s quite a lot of dogs named after food or drink. Now I’m not completely sure why that is, but I did have a dog named Marshmallow because she was pure white. Maybe we choose food names for our pets because we have an emotional attachment to food. We love it.
Here’s quite a few popular food names you may want to consider for your pet:

Most people take some time to name their pet and it’s not always easy. Looking for inspiration from what’s around us is only natural. Choosing a food or drink name often brings a smile to your face and people around you. It can bring warm fuzzy feelings too, when you think of Oreos or Waffles. Not to mention it’s easier to remember a name like Snickers than it is to remember a human name like Sebastian.
Whatever you choose a name from the list above or one of your own creation you’re sure to be using it multiple times every day.
